长城杯国际青少年足球邀请赛由北京市足球运动协会于2010年创办，旨在推进北京共建“一带一路”绿色发展理念，助力北京国际交往中心建设，促进北京市青少年与国际足球先进国家交流与合作，搭建国际交流平台，提高青少年足球竞技水平，宣传北京双奥城市文化，展现北京“全国足球重点城市”国际形象的品牌赛事。时至今日已成功举办九届。往届来自白俄罗斯、墨西哥、澳大利亚、意大利、韩国、印度、泰国、日本、马来西亚等多个国家的青少年选手参加。

Launched in 2010 by the Beijing Football Association, the Great Wall Cup International Youth Football Invitational Tournament is dedicated to advancing Beijing's green development philosophy under the "Belt and Road" initiative, supporting the city's role as an international exchange hub, fostering football exchanges and cooperation between Beijing's youth teams and leading football nations, building a global platform to enhance youth football competitiveness, promoting Beijing's "Dual Olympic City" culture, and showcasing its international profile as a "National Key Football City." Having successfully hosted nine editions to date, the tournament has attracted youth players from Belarus, Mexico, Australia, Italy, South Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and other countries.
